In 15 patients, subtotal esophagectomy Ivor-Lewis mediastinal esophago-gastric was performed. 8 distal proximal gastrectomy an abdominal 4 anastomosis, we are evaluating description technique, patient criteria inclusion, protocol postoperative care. Discussion practice used chemotherapy radiotherapy part multimodality plan. All carcinoma had radiation prior use stapler devices anastomoses some studies linked higher rate leakage but consider it preferential choice surgeon. We opted one-layer esophagogastric neck shown instead two-layer technique because lower rates stricture formation. level exposure route advantageous making accurate anastomosis. retrosternal space replacement local tumor posterior mediastinum. Conclusion As other cancers there mandatory evaluation congruence guidelines order each have adjuvant therapy according its stage. per T1-2, N0 stage treated surgery alone close follow up T3 N1/M1 should be considered that extensive disease not candidates alone.
